coaching and training for adopting agile and scrum

Scrum Review Cards

Want to learn a lot of Scrum details in a pretty fun and very collaborative way? These decks may be part of the solution.

With five topics - Product Backlog, Product Owner, ScrumMaster, Development Team, and Sprint Planning - you can challenge yourself and your Team in your Scrum knowledge. And maybe learn something new.

Each deck contains the instructions and necessary label cards, plus of course the statement cards that you have to try to categorise appropriately. On the back of each statement card I've written my opinion. The point isn't that that would be the only correct answer, but that it gives a point to reflect on.

Data Use and Protection

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), this is what data we collect, store, and why, plus how we store it, protect it, and allow you to remove your information from our records.

What data we collect

In order for us to provide our trainings and certifications, we need to have your name, email address, dietary restrictions, and invoicing information. We might also need some other information regarding the practical arrangements of the trainings or coaching sessions. We will also keep a record of the permissions you give us for the use and storage of your data.

We might have your phone number in our phone, in case you’ve called us (or we’ve found it necessary to call you after you’ve given us your phone number). We don’t usually ask for the number since we don’t usually need it for anything.

Coaching and other trainings

I have done numerous non-certified training classes for various topics, for example:

  • Scrum team training – the non-technical practices for an effective Agile team
  • Management 3.0 course – training for Agile managers and business leaders
  • 1-day and half-day training/coaching sessions – customizable on desired Agile topic
  • Management team training – using Agile as a competitive advantage and creating an innovative organisation

I have also done coaching for ScrumMasters, Product Owners, project teams, customer organizations, and governmental agencies, but I’m not currently available for longer term engagements (due to life circumstances).

If you are interested, please get in touch through email, and go on from there.

ScrumMaster’s role is often pivotal in the successful use of Scrum. And I’m not meaning organizing meetings and ensuring that there’s enough coffee in the team’s kitchen. Anyone can do those. I’m talking about the real responsibilities that require a master of Scrum – observing and providing feedback to the Development Team and PO, helping the Development Team jell, visualizing information in the system, being an organisational change agent, supporting the Development Team’s self-organisation, and so on.

In this course, we will set the foundations for a path towards that mastery. In these first steps, we will look at things like:
